Yes. Every line is our modern rendering of a public-domain translation, such as George Long's 1862 Meditations or John Burnet's Heraclitus. Each product page shows the passage reference and the original translated wording so you can check it yourself.

Many of the most shared lines come from modern translations that are still under copyright, or were never said by the person they are credited to. We translate the original Greek ourselves, or work from translations published before 1929, and every line shows its source.

Each piece is printed or embroidered to order, which takes 2 to 5 business days. Shipping inside the US takes another 3 to 5 business days and is free on every order. You get a tracking link by email the day it ships.

The Heavyweight is dense and structured with a smooth face that holds small type sharply. The Sun-Washed is garment-dyed, softer and more relaxed from the first wear, with a faded surf look. If you are between sizes in the Heavyweight, size up for a looser fit.

If a piece arrives misprinted, damaged or with a defect, email us within 30 days with a photo and we will replace it or refund you. Because every piece is made to order, we cannot take returns for a change of mind or size, so check the size guide first.

Two pieces take 10% off the whole order and three or more take 15%, across tees and caps. Join the list for 10% off your first order.
